D. Don Boyer – Chairman

Don is a geologist and resource company manager with 36 years experience in gold and base metals exploration and management of resource projects in Australia and overseas, and co-founder of Midas.

His experience includes responsibility for technical operations from project acquisition through discovery to production and has been instrumental in the listing of a number of successful junior exploration companies.

He has held a number of executive roles including Managing Director of Gilt-Edge Mining NL, from its listing in 1996 until the successful take-over of that company by Goldfields Limited in 2000. As Managing Director of Australian Mines Ltd he oversaw the acquisition and re-commissioning of the Blair nickel mine. He is currently non-executive chairman of Midas Resources Ltd and of Bass Metals Ltd.

Geoffrey (Geoff) D Balfe – Managing Director
B.App.Geol., MAIMM

Geoff is a qualified geologist with more than 30 years experience in Australia and overseas in the management and operation of major exploration and evaluation projects. Geoff’s extensive experience within Australia and overseas includes senior exploration management roles with MPI (10 years), ACM-Normandy (7 years) and AMAX, in addition to consultancy roles. His impressive track record includes direct involvement in the discovery and development of nickel orebodies at Silver Swan and Forrestania in Australia, and of gold deposits in Turkey and Nevada (USA). He has also held board positions in the subsidiaries of a number of resource companies, including MPI and ACM.

Terry Streeter – Non-Executive Director

Terry is a Perth-based businessman and investor with long involvement in the exploration and mining industries.

He has been involved with the nickel sulphide industry since 1970 and provides the Board and shareholders with many years of experience in funding, listing and overseeing junior explorers in all exploration and economic cycles.

Mr Streeter is a non-executive Director and a significant shareholder of Jubilee Gold Mines NL and Western Areas NL.

Phillip MacLeod – Company Secretary
B.Bus, CPA

Phillip is a Certified Practising Accountant with 17 years experience in accounting and corporate management. Mr MacLeod has provided company secretarial services to a number of listed companies involved in various industries for the last 9 years.

Mr MacLeod was appointed as Company Secretary of Midas Resources Limited on January 8, 2004.
