LEONORA GOLD PROJECT

E40/294 and E40/295 are located between 10km and 50km south of Leonora Western Australia within the prolific Gwalia (12Moz) to Kookynie (0.5Moz) gold belt. Gold mineralisation is controlled by several major structures that can be traced through the Midas tenements and it can be seen that historical gold workings are closely associated with these structures. In the Midas tenements these structures are called Dingo Well and Dahlia.

Recent work by Midas has resulted in significant sample results from old gold workings at the Reach prospect in the northern part of E40/294 and at Sunbeam-Bluebell in E40/295 and at Eureka in recently granted tenement P40/1282 in the southern part of the project area near Kookynie.

Midas has recently completed a drill program south of Dingo Well and an augur geochemical drilling program for gold on the Dahlia and Dingo Well structures. The gold anomalies are being ranked for further testing.
